The Journal of Distribution Science (JDS) hereby retracts the above article following a formal review by the KODISA Foundation Research Ethics Committee and the Editorial Board.

The review was initiated after the Journal received a detailed concern regarding the accuracy of multiple citations and source attributions in the published article. The authors were formally requested to provide explanations and verifiable source evidence concerning eleven identified citation-related issues.

The authors were given seven (7) days to submit their formal response and supporting evidence. No formal explanation or supporting evidence addressing the identified issues was received within the stated period.

Following the expiration of the response period, the KODISA Foundation Research Ethics Committee conducted its review on the basis of the published article, the identified citation issues, and the available source evidence.

The Committee determined that the citation and attribution problems identified in the article were sufficiently serious to undermine confidence in important elements of the article’s theoretical basis and scholarly reliability, and that correction alone would not adequately resolve the concerns.

Accordingly, the KODISA Foundation Research Ethics Committee and the Editorial Board of the Journal of Distribution Science determined that the article should be retracted.

The original article will remain available as part of the scholarly record but will be clearly identified and marked as RETRACTED. This Retraction Notice will be permanently linked to the original article and its DOI record.

This retraction is issued in accordance with the publication-ethics and research-integrity procedures of the KODISA Foundation and the Journal of Distribution Science.
